Illustration Project for Gibsons Dementia Jigsaws

Date: 13 November 2019

Art & Design Level 3 Extended Diploma second year students enjoyed the opportunity to work on a professional project for Gibsons, a family run business based in Sutton.

The brief was to produce illustrations based on images and colours from the 50s and 60s for a range of dementia friendly jigsaw puzzles. The chosen illustrations will be used on the puzzles and the box artwork and student names will be listed on the box along with the Reigate School of Art Logo.

Louis Morton, Eloise Billings, Caleb Bond, Cameron Hartley and Megan Smylie-Page were all pleased to have their work chosen and were awarded a £50 retail voucher for their work.

Gibsons Product Development Manager commented: "the Piecing Together puzzles have been delivered and they look great! They’ve also gone down really well with customers."
