BRSCC Awards night win for Motorsport team
On Saturday 19 November, George Keith, Motorsport Lead and William Darnbrook from East Surrey College, attended the prestigious BRSCC Annual Awards Evening held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The BRSCC Awards night brings together UK Motorsport for a night to honour drivers, marshals and officials for their endeavours this year. With over 300 guests representing the best of BRSCC Motorsport, it was with great pleasure that East Surrey College received the Second Place Trophy for the Student Motorsport Challenge, part of the Nankang City Car Cup. We were very honoured to receive this as the challenge is made up of HE and FE leaners, and we were the leading FE College.
Of an even greater joy we were also awarded the prize for ‘Car Preparation and Build’, in motorsport world terms, ‘The Construction Trophy’.
George Keith, Motorsport Lead at East Surrey College comments:
"This accolade is true testament of the East Surrey team, and driver, Andy Burgess, working as one to bring the vocational course of Motorsport to life for the learners. We are truly thankful for the help and support for all in achieving this prestigious accolade."
Huge congratulations to the Motorsport team at East Surrey College.
