We hope you are all looking forward to the start of the academic year 2022/23! We know this can be an exciting time and filled with lots of questions about your options, what to do after you receive your results and your next steps.

Enrolment week is your perfect opportunity to have all your questions answered whilst getting a place on a course that is right for you so make sure you come down and meet us. 


Enrolment FAQs

What if I didn’t get the grades I was hoping for?
 

If you did not get the grades you were hoping for, do not worry! 

Come to the College to meet our friendly staff who can talk through your options.

You’ll be able to receive information advice and guidance from our Careers and Curriculum staff to help you find a course for you.

I have missed my scheduled enrolment slot, what do I do?

If you have already been assigned an enrolment time but could not attend, don't worry!

Simply come to the College during the week from 09:00 and we will enrol you on your chosen course that day.  

 

 

Do I need to book an appointment to enrol?

No booking or appointments are required. Simply arrive at the College and our team will take you through the enrolment process. 

When I come to the College, what should I bring with me?
 

When you come to the College, please bring the following with you.

  • Identification ID - we need proof of your residency
  • Evidence of your qualifications
  • Evidence of any benefits received
  • Evidence of income - you may not have to pay fees for courses if you are aged 19 or over on 31 August 2022
  • Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

If you don’t have all of these items, bring what you can and our staff will advise on the next steps.

Part-time Qualification and Leisure courses (for ages 19+)

Our Part-time courses are designed to help you progress at work, retrain for a new career or learn a new skill. As your local adult learning provider, we offer a range of evening, online and short courses timetabled to allow you to fit your studies around existing family or work commitments.

View the range of 2022-23 Part-time courses, and apply online or pop into the College to enrol. 


Higher Education

We are proud to announce that the Department for Education (DfE) has approved the title of ‘Orbital South Colleges University Centre’ for our growing Higher Education provision.

We are still accepting applications for the wide range of Higher Education courses that are available to study at East Surrey College.

Please take a look at the list of options available to you.  Pop into the College this week to apply for your university-level course.

If you are not able to come to the College on a weekday, we recommend you come and see us on Saturday 03 September from 10:00 – 13:00 for our Late Enrolment Event.
