Motor Vehicle Students Hear From an Industry Professional

Students across all levels of Motor Vehicle at ESC were joined by Andy Brown, Automotive Technical Manager at Fuchs Lubricants, based in Stoke-on-Trent.
He shared the history of the company with our students, explaining how Fuchs Lubricants has become the number 1 independent oil company in the world.
"We're probably one of the biggest oil companies you've never heard of!"
Andy also explained some of the key sectors they work within, and the well-known automotive manufacturers they provide products for. Our students were also reminded about the importance of engine oil and correct engine lubrication.
Richard Drayson, Motor Vehicle Technician, commented:
"This talk really provides an insight into the properties of oil and importance of lubrication in engines, as well as the wider industry. It's also a great opportunity for our students to gain an insight into the technology behind it all and see the products available."
