A visit from the High Sheriff of Surrey
Date: 30 April 2018
It was a pleasure to welcome the High Sheriff of Surrey last week, as he was taken on a ‘Learning Walk’ around the College.
Jim Glover spoke to staff and students, whilst exploring the College’s facilities. The High Sheriff visited Level 1 Health and Social Care students, and supported them with their target setting and provided guidance on career opportunities. He was also taken to the Motor Vehicle workshops, and asked the students to give feedback on their course, before stopping by the Carpentry workshop and taking a look at the students’ projects.
Students on the College’s Springboard programme were also delighted to welcome the High Sheriff, as he spoke with them about their goals and aspirations.
