Origins Creative Arts Festival 2019

Origins Creative Arts Festival 2019

Date: 28 August 2019

Reigate School of Art students; Marina Pacios Ortola, James Sewell and Lucas Leitch enjoyed the exciting opportunity to exhibit their work at Origins Creative Arts Festival in July, held at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane.

This annual celebration of work by students from across the country offers an opportunity to exhibit their work in London, and to experience what it is like to be an ‘arts professional’.

The theme of this year's exhibition was 'coming into focus' which represents the way that students clarify, consolidate and confirm their skills and their artistic practice whilst studying on UAL Awarding Body qualifications.

The exhibition displayed a range of painting, drawing, sculpture and video, complemented by a programme of live music, film screenings and a performing arts workshop. It provided a first look at the UK's next generation of up-and-coming creatives.

If you missed this event, check out the virtual tour and full showreel of all film pieces.
