A Masterclass in Special Effects Make-Up

Our Make-Up, Special Effects & Hair for Media & Performance BA Top-up and HND Year 1 students were treated to an exciting demo in our Theatrical Make-Up salons!
Industry expert and former staff member, Hannah Callaghan has been working on the set of Netflix's The Witcher and created a war-torn elven look for our students. With the assistance of Tutor Hayley, they spent 3 hours creating the look, using their silicon and blood effects skills.

Our BA Top-Up students are currently working towards a Beauty & The Beast inspired project, whilst the HND Year 1s are looking at 'The World on War'. This workshop was a great opportunity for them to gain inspiration for their projects, whilst also studying aspects such as character design and development
