If you are interested in a career in Caring Services then ESC can help you develop the skills and qualifications you need to work in this area of growing need. Our courses will train you to care for adults, children or those with learning disabilities in care homes, nurseries or hospitals. All the courses incorporate a strong practical element and students are given numerous opportunities to increase their employability.

Find out what Caring Services students Louise Baker and Alison Shirley  are up to and what they thought of their course.

When studying on a Caring Services course you will have the opportunity to:
> take part in a work placement
> get involved with fundraising for Children in Need and other charities
> take part in enrichment activities
> attend trips and visits
> attend talks and presentations from guest speakers
> visit local schools

Please note:
> a DBS check needs to be completed before you can commence your course. Therefore we ask that all applications for these courses are submitted by April 2015
> you will need to buy a Caring Services uniform (polo shirt/fleece)
> you will need to pay for any trips
> work placements are mandatory for Level 2 & 3 Childcare and Level 2 & 3 Health & Social Care
