MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Two A-Levels at grade 4 (C) or above, or BTEC National Level 3 qualification in Construction & the Built Environment, or previous relevant experience in the construction industry.


ABOUT THE COURSE
The Construction and the Built Environment HNC is designed for students taking their first steps into construction employment or for those already in employment and seeking career development opportunities in Construction, Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
The qualifications provide progression into the workplace either directly or via study at university and are designed to meet the employer’s needs.

ASSESSMENT
Continuing ongoing planned assignments and practical assignment tasks in some units.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Individual Project (Pearson-set) // Construction Technology // Science & Materials // Construction Practice & Management

Plus four optional units dependent on the pathway taken (Construction, Building Services Engineering, Surveying or Civil Engineering).

WHERE DOES IT LEAD?
Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering, University Degree, Professional Qualification such as RICS or CIOB.
