ABOUT THE COURSE
This Photography course will offer the opportunity to study photography within a broad range of vocational and academic contexts through a range of assignments.
Personal and professional development is key and will include business practice opportunities. You will be able to develop practical skills, eg continuous and flash lighting both on location and in the studio and Technical skills in industry standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom will be delivered.

YEAR TWO: Professional Practice // Advanced Photography Studies // Moving Image // Applied Practice Collaborative Project // Advanced Art Practice
The course is continuously assessed through assignments and projects. There are no exams, but there are critical and contextual written projects which support, and integrate with, the practical photographic assignments.
WHERE DOES IT LEAD?
Having built up experience throughout the two years of the course, students may choose to undertake further studies, by applying for a BA top-up degree offered by us, or at a variety of other institutions around the country. Additionally, certain universities consider this qualification for entry into the second year of their degree programme. Students who wish to pursue industry related employment, or freelance work, will be given support and guidance in how to undertake this career pathway choice.
