Armistice Day 2020
Remembrance Day, is a day for the nation to remember and honour all those who have suffered or died in war, and we were proud to mark the occasion with some staff who have served or continue to serve in the Armed Forces, along with a small group of Public Services students. They stood to attention in the centre of the Winter Garden around a large poppy outline, which included commemorative wreaths, some which were created by different academic departments. There was also a fantastic display by the Supported Learning students who had created a collage of Remembrance.
We were pleased to honour our tradition of Remembrance Day with staff and students marking the two minutes silence either remotely or within their class groups.
