Automotive Autocare Technician Level 2 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

For this apprenticeship standard, we will provide the training in college that covers the elements a level 2 motor vehicle mechanic would be completing in the workplace. We will also support you with the completion of the portfolio they need to complete in readiness for their end point assessment. We will then support you with guidance on the training on specific items in the workplace and preparation for the End Point Assessment. Building Services Engineering Installer Level 2 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

For this apprenticeship standard, we provide a day release programme for 2 years to study a Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Engineering. In addition, we will support you with specific support in CAD training. The apprentice will also receive dedicated Level fundamental engineering training. This will support the apprentice in understanding fundamental engineering skills. The apprentice will also complete an NVQ in Engineering technical support. We will then support you with guidance on the training on specific items in the workplace and preparation for the End Point Assessment. This Engineering Apprenticeship Standard has several pathways embedded within it. General Welder (Arc Processes) Level 2 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Welding apprentices will receive formal tuition in our workshop alongside theory sessions to support their role in the workplace. This new apprenticeship standard requires the apprentices to pass nationally recognised welder assessments which will include destructive and non-destructive tests carried out by qualified inspection personnel.

Apprentices will study the theory of Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair in the college on a day release basis for two years to achieve the principles qualification. Light Vehicle Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Our Level 3 Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship is for apprentices who have completed their Level 2 apprenticeship and now wish to progress to Level 3. This Level concentrates on the skills needed to diagnose and rectify faults on motor vehicles and is a Technician level qualification. Modules studied at college include Diagnose and rectify auxiliary electrical faults, Diagnose and rectify engine faults, Diagnose and rectify chassis system faults, Diagnose and rectify transmission and driveline faults, Inspecting light vehicles. The duration is 18 months with the apprentices attending college for 1 academic year.
