IT User Skills (ECDL) Essential Level 1 Award (Part Time)

Covering three modules in IT Security, IT User Fundamentals, Internet & Email, this is a roll-on-roll-off flexible qualification course allowing the students 40 hours in College for at least 2 hours per week. The College is using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016. The students will be using books for self-study. There is always a tutor on hand for help. This course is for anyone who has basic computer skills and looking to expand these and gain a qualification in IT. Flexible study times in 2 hour sessions.

IT User Skills (ECDL) Extra Level 2 Certificate (Part Time)

Covering four modules in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Productivity, you will achieve a Level 2 ITQ Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Extra). If you have also completed ECDL Essentials you will receive the internationally recognised ECDL Certificate. This is a roll-on-roll-off flexible course allowing the student 90 hours at College for at least 2 hrs per week. The College is using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 and learners will be using books for self study (always with a tutor on hand for help). This course is for anyone with good basic computer skills who wants to achieve a qualification which is well recognised in the workplace and proof of up-to-date Microsoft Office skills. There will be a fee for Awarding Body costs. Flexible study times in 2 hour sessions.

The College is using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 and learners will be using books for self study (always with a tutor on hand for help), these books are available to borrow from the college but must be returned at the end of each module. ECDL Advanced allows you to demonstrate your higher level computer skills, showing employers that you are confident, competent and efficient. There will be an additional resource/awarding body fee. Flexible study times in 2 hour sessions.
