The course builds on what was learnt at Intermediate level and focuses on grammar, speaking and listening skills. You will learn how to speak using tenses and speak confidently in the language.
This course follows on from Module 2 and focuses on developing both speaking and listening skills, enabling students to learn individually, in pairs and in groups. Students are provided with a range of resources to use in the classroom as well as at home.
You will learn how to:
- Buy transport tickets and tell the time, comparing modes of transport and journey times
- Book a hotel room and report any issues
- Describe your home.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
You will need a pen and paper, dictionaries are not required but you may find these useful. Tutors may deliver the course following a particular textbook, which you may wish to buy. This will be confirmed during the first session.

The fees displayed are the MAXIMUM payable by adults aged 19+ unless you qualify for a concessionary fee. Please be aware that there may be additional costs for materials.
Concessions
Tuition fees may be waived or reduced if you are on a low income or receive certain benefits.
If you don’t qualify for a concession, you will need to pay for your course in full or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost (Level 3-6 courses only).
