What to expect from an apprenticeship
- You will work for an employer in a paid job.
- Typically, 6 hours of your working week will be off-the-job training.
- You will work a minimum of 30 hours a week including any time spent at College.
- Learning will take place at College, in the workplace and/or online.
- You will be assessed in the workplace. All apprenticeship standards are completed with an end-point assessment (EPA).
- You will also gain transferrable skills including teamwork and time management.
- There are likely exciting career opportunities once you have completed your apprenticeship.
