An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain industry experience and get paid a wage. Apprenticeships give you a nationally recognised qualification, along with the skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.
To become an apprentice, you must:Â
- You’re aged 16+
- You live in England
- You’re not in full-time education
- You are currently employed
You can start an Apprenticeship at any level depending on your existing qualifications and experience. There are no tuition fees as training costs are funded by the government and your employer.
