We work closely with several local schools to ensure a smooth transition from secondary to further education, this includes our School Link Programme and working with our official partner schools.
Students at our partner schools will have lots of opportunities to meet us to find out more about the College and options available to them at assemblies, information evenings, open events and taster days.
Students at our partner schools are guaranteed a place at East Surrey College provided they meet the minimum entry requirements for the course applied for and have a satisfactory school reference.
What is offered during School Links Programme?
Year 11 students will attend weekly sessions in either Hair & Beauty, Motor Vehicle or Construction. This provides students with an opportunity to receive a recognised Level 1 qualification with us before they finish school.Â
These are run by our fantastic staffing team, who accommodate all the student’s needs.
How to Apply for Post-16 courses
Your school will provide you with a course guide and you can apply on our website.
Once you have applied, you will be invited for an interview at the College and offer letters will be sent out based on predicted grades and references.
Becoming a Partner School with East Surrey College will open-up bespoke opportunities for Tours, Activities and Support, including the Schools Link programme.
