Declan’s career journey grew from a passion for business that emerged in his early teenage years. With a drive to learn in an environment that would nurture his ambitions, he credits a robust foundation at East Surrey College for shaping his later success.
Kellie
Estates & Facilities Housekeeping at East Surrey Hospital | Studied Life Skills
Kellie studied a Life Skills course at ESC before getting a job at East Surrey Hospital as part of the Estates and Facilities Housekeeping team. She has been working in the busy NHS hospital for over five years, interacting with hundreds of patients and staff a day.

Childcare Manager at Pearl’s Playhouse Childcare Group | Studied Childcare Level 2
Harriet found the support at East Surrey College to be outstanding, and remembers her time at the College fondly. She now has her own childcare business, and believes the work experience opportunities included in the course helped massively in progressing to where she is now.

From a young age, Harry had a passion for music, which led him to discover his interest in live sound and laid the foundation for his career in the music and events industry. Driven by this enthusiasm, he chose a practical, career-focused course that allowed him to explore a wide range of industry roles.

University of Kent | Studied Applied Science
Choosing East Surrey College provided James with a strong foundation in science and a clear pathway into Higher Education. He credits the supportive teaching, hands-on learning, and enrichment opportunities for building the knowledge and confidence needed to progress to a Biomedical Science degree at the University of Kent.
