Applying for a course at East Surrey College couldn’t be easier. Whether you’re a school leaver interested in a full-time course, or an adult exploring part-time options, simply follow the steps below to get started!

Visit us at an Open Event, check out the course guide and and explore our website to find a course that interests you (search for your course using the course search or browse courses by subject).
- Read course details and entry requirements to make sure it’s right for you
- Click the APPLY button
- Register for an online account and complete the application form
Once you submit your application, you will receive an email confirming we have received it. This email will explain what happens next, including expected timescales and how we will contact you about interviews, reminders, changes, or any further information we may need.

After applying, you’ll be invited to an Information, Advice & Guidance interview (remember to check your email).
This is an important opportunity to meet our tutors and to ensure that this is the right course for you, and for us to fully explain the details and course requirements.
We will discuss:
- Your previous learning
- Career goals
- Any support you may need

If you’re successful, you’ll be offered a conditional place which will be confirmed at enrolment. You will need to accept your offer through your applicant portal but you can only accept one offer.
By mid July, you will receive an invitation to enrol at the College. This will include:
- Your specific enrolment date
- Enrolment arrangements
- Details of anything you need to bring or complete in advance
- Information about course related costs, such as trips or kits

The enrolment period starts from GCSE results day, typically for about 2 weeks prior to the start of term.
At enrolment we will:
- Provide further information, advice and guidance
- Review your exam results
- Confirm your course is suitable, and if needed, support a course transfer to the most appropriate programme
- You will receive your student ID card and find out how to access your timetable

Term starts in early September with Induction Week. This is a great opportunity to get to know the campuses, meet other students, find out about our support services and what to expect as you begin your studies.

Enrol & Pay Online
Search for your course using the course search or browse courses by subject. Click on the enrol button next to your desired course and this will take you through to our online payment system.
If this is your first time using the online system, you will be asked to create an account and fill in your details. You will then be given a username and password to use for any future enrolments. You can then continue to enrol on your chosen course and you will be able to pay online.
Please note that all payments must be received before your enrolment is finalised.

Please fill out all fields. The Enrolments Team will then contact you to arrange an interview, if necessary, confirm your place and to take payment details.

Important Information
Your enrolment will not be finalised without the relevant course fee and a completed signed enrolment form. Original or certified copies of all relevant documentation will be needed for enrolment onto a course where payment is discounted due to being in receipt of a means tested benefit.
Once your enrolment form and payment have been processed, a receipt will be emailed to you, along with a learning agreement.
