What Is Labour Marketing Information?

Labour Market Information (LMI) helps break down the working environment into bitesize pieces. Young people can identify: 

• Descriptions of individual careers 
• Entry requirements for each route
• Promotional prospects 
• Paid salaries 
• Skills and Qualifications needed to fulfill the role 

The LMI further covers the future demand of the job, it looks at where the industry will be in a couple of years and what new skills will be needed. 

Why is LMI important to Young People? 

With new industries emerging young people can use Labour Market Information (LMI) to make informed decisions about career planning, job hunting and their career progression.
