Victoria started her Cabin Crew journey at ESC and now works as Cabin Crew with Wizz Air. She loves to make the most of meeting new people whilst working, and getting to explore the world. Her course helped her feel motivated and ready for the workplace with a number of trips and employer visits helping her gain connections.
What led you to choosing this course?
I started exploring the idea of becoming Cabin Crew, and realised how amazing the opportunities and experiences in this field are. It’s been such a great decision because it combines my love for travel, meeting new people, and working in a dynamic environment.
What did you enjoy most about your course?
What I enjoy most is how we are taught and how information is offered during the course, as well as how helpful my tutor has been. Thanks to them, I am now working in the Travel and Tourism industry!
Overall, how did you find the teaching/support?
Amazing – everyone in the department played their role towards making things easier for the students so we could succeed.
Did you complete any work experience during this course?
I completed some done work experience at a hotel, and my skills and personal nature helped me get employed afterwards with the company. This position played its part in shaping my journey into working as Cabin Crew as I developed a lot of transferrable skills and customer service experience.
Did you take part in any events/trips/competitions/exhibitions or had any speakers visit?
We had trips out related to travel and a few speakers from different companies which were interesting. Each visit and trip left me feeling more motivated to work towards my goals.
What are your future plans?
Now I have finished my course, I have graduated as an official Cabin Crew Member and I am excited to have started working with Wizz Air as Cabin Crew. In this role, I hope to continue on progressing and developing new skills. Looking back, I’m really glad I went with that spontaneous choice—it has opened so many doors and made my journey exciting!
Would you recommend ESC to a future student?
I am a hard believer of education playing one of the main roles in our lives, so I would definitely recommend to attend ESC to any future student, as there are many factors which would be beneficial to them such as good tutors, great material, and supportive environment and of course many others which they would find out about once enrolled.
