Originally from Sudan, Azhrei came to East Surrey College to improve his English but he has also made some great friends on the course and grown in confidence!
How have you found studying ESOL at East Surrey College?
I wanted to learn the English language as I speak Arabic. I am originally from Sudan and came here in September, so I was looking to improve my English. The classrooms here are great and I have made loads of friends, which has helped me outside of the college as well. I am also looking forward to the trips that we get to go on later in the course. The teachers are kind, especially Nadia who really helps us a lot. Once I finish this course, I am hoping to study literature or business. Coming to East Surrey has been helpful and supported my English loads.
