What led you to choosing this course?
Growing up, I always had a strong interest in video games, and certain ones really captured my attention. Over time, what started as a fun hobby in school gradually turned into a passion that inspired me to explore it further at college.
Why did you decide to study at ESC?
I had only two options, and this college felt like the right fit for me. Attending the open days gave me a better sense of what the college had to offer, and its location was an added bonus for me.
What do you enjoy most about your course?
In the past, I have struggled to stay focused with certain subjects, which has been difficult to learn effectively. However, this course really does hold my interest, which keeps me motivated and makes learning much easier and more enjoyable.
How are you finding the teaching/support?
I find the support at the college incredibly helpful, especially when I have questions or need clarification on certain topics. The tutors are knowledgeable and also very approachable, they’re always ready to help me, which makes a big difference on how I learn things.Â

Have you taken part in events/trips/competitions/exhibitions or had any speakers visit?
So far, I have attended the EGX event, an electronic games expo that was part of the London Comic Con. It was a great experience where I had the chance to see the different parts of the gaming industry. I left having learnt so much and took away a lot from the various activities and presentations throughout the day.
What are your future plans?
I currently have two main options, I am considering looking for a role as a game developer with a small company, and the other is potentially continuing my studies at UCA University. I haven’t made a final decision yet, but as I continue through my course, I feel that I will know what’s going to be the best choice for me.
Would you recommend ESC to a future student. If so, why?
I would definitely recommend ESC to future students and have even suggested it to my sister. The environment is welcoming and relaxed, without feeling overly strict. It’s a great place to study, and I really appreciate how straightforward the layout of the College is, it is easy to move around without getting lost.
