The course introduces basic vocabulary, focusing on developing speaking and listening skills and enables you to learn individually, in pairs and in groups. You are provided with a range of resources to use in the classroom as well as at home.

- How to address and greet people
- How to introduce yourself by age, your birthday and origins
- The alphabet
- How to talk about your family
- Jobs
- How to tell the time (days, hours, months)
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
You will need a pen and paper, dictionaries are not required but you may find these useful. Tutors may deliver the course following a particular textbook, which you may wish to buy. This will be confirmed during the first session.

The fees displayed are the MAXIMUM payable by adults aged 19+ unless you qualify for a concessionary fee. Please be aware that there may be additional costs for materials.

Tuition fees may be waived or reduced if you are on a low income or receive certain benefits.
If you don’t qualify for a concession, you will need to pay for your course in full or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost (Level 3-6 courses only).
