From pitstop competitions to reassembling vehicles, Ryan has found a passion for Vehicle Maintenance during his time at ESC. He loves gaining first-hand experience in the workshop and makes the most of his studies, enjoying the atmosphere in and around College.
What did you enjoy most about your course?
The aspects of my course I enjoy most are the disassembly and reassembly process, finding out how everything works and the intricacies of the engine. It allows me to get first hand experience in the workshop.
Did you take part in any events/trips/competitions/exhibitions or had any speakers visit? If so, what and tell us more!
I recently took part in a pit stop competition where my class we went to a local College and attempted to set the fastest pit stop time, using the practical skills we have been practicing.
What are your future plans once you’ve finished your course?
I will be moving on to Vehicle Maintenance or Repair Level 2 next year, and in the future my goal is to hopefully get into the motorsport racing scene.
Would you recommend ESC to a future student? If so, why?
I would highly recommend ESC because it is an amazing college with amazing and friendly staff. The staff are very welcoming and supportive and provide a safe environment for students to be who they want to be.
What led you to choosing this course? If you chose to do a T Level course, why?
I have always been interested in cars and vehicles in general. I decided to study to ESC because the teaching is always good and the support continues to be great as well.
