CAVA Assessor and AET Teaching Bundle Level 3

This package combines Award in Education and Training and Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement units. This is a fast route to achieve both qualifications as learners only need to complete 5 units.

This package is designed for those wanting to work as an assessor and trainer in work environment and training settings, and colleges.

DELIVERY MODEL:

The course at East Surrey College combines face-to-face lessons in the classroom, remote delivery via Teams,
and one-to-one tutorials.Remote delivery to external organisations is flexible and can be tailored to the needs of your organisation.

• Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
• Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
• Understanding Principles and Practices of Assessment
• Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
• Assessing Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

Access to a computer/laptop.

You will be expected to complete a range of assignments for both courses which are submitted and then marked by your tutor. As part of your course, you will complete a short practical micro-teaching session as part of your teacher training qualification. You’ll also be required, as part of the CAVA qualification to assess learners in their work environment.
