The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback. This course will be taught through a combination of traditional classroom-based lessons and online sessions.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback. The AET Award is a mandatory minimum qualification for all those teaching in the Learning and Skills Sector and replaces the old PTLLS qualification.
Delivery model: 1 week in the classroom, 1 week remote delivery via Teams.

Lever Arch File and basic stationery.
There are no formal requirements for this course; however, it is preferred that you have a minimum Level 3 qualification in your own area of specialism and hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
The qualification allows candidates to progress into employment as teachers/trainers, as well as to the following City & Guilds qualifications:
3 assignments, 1 assignment per unit, and 1 microteaching session (15 minutes).
The fees displayed are the MAXIMUM payable by adults aged 19+ unless you qualify for a concessionary fee. Please be aware that there may be additional costs for materials.
Concessions
Tuition fees may be waived or reduced if you are on a low income or receive certain benefits.
If you don’t qualify for a concession, you will need to pay for your course in full or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost (Level 3-6 courses only).
