You will learn new techniques for depicting proportion and construction of features as well as creating a finished portrait. You will use acrylics at first although oils may be used if preferred. Your learning will be supported by demonstration and one to one teaching, enabling you to progress with confidence toward a finished portrait.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Please bring drawing materials to the first lesson, including charcoal, 4B and 6B pencils, a sketchbook (Seawhite are recommended). You will also be required to buy an adequate set of acrylics and a range of flat headed brushes. You will be required to purchase further materials and equipment - your tutor will advise you.

Tuition fees may be waived or reduced if you are on a low income or receive certain benefits.
If you don’t qualify for a concession, you will need to pay for your course in full or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost (Level 3-6 courses only).
