If you are looking to grow your career in vehicle maintenance, this course will teach you how to safely carry out routine maintenance and repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles. You won’t work on high-voltage systems, but you’ll learn everything else needed to keep these vehicles running smoothly.
This qualification is designed in collaboration with industry experts from the automotive sector to deliver the right knowledge and skills to work safely on Electric/Hybrid vehicles during maintenance and repair activities.
You will gain an understanding of the hazards and risks associated with high-voltage components and will learn how to isolate and reinstate these systems to enable routine maintenance and repairs to be carried out safely. However, this qualification does not certify a technician or learner to work directly on a vehicle’s high-voltage system.

The fees displayed are the MAXIMUM payable by adults aged 19+ unless you qualify for a concessionary fee. Please be aware that there may be additional costs for materials.
Concessions
Tuition fees may be waived or reduced if you are on a low income or receive certain benefits.
If you don’t qualify for a concession, you will need to pay for your course in full or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost (Level 3-6 courses only).
