EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
All students will be required to wear College uniform. Steel toe capped boots must be worn at all times when in the workshops. Students will also need to bring in stationery equipment such as pens, pencils, calculator, lever arch folder and recommended textbooks.
4 GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) including English and Maths or: Introduction to Vehicle Technology Entry Level Diploma and GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C) in English and Maths.
A successful student within this course may have the opportunity to study a Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance or employment as an Apprentice within the motor trade.
There is a continued assessment throughout the programme, allowing students to improve and develop continually. Assessment comes in a range of forms including leaflets, handbooks, essays and reports, practical assessment and observation, class tests, presentations, discussion seminars and practical projects.
Students aged 16 to 18, or those aged 16 to 24 who have a valid EHCP and are studying a full-time course, do not have to pay a course fee.
Students aged 19+ (without an EHCP) may have to pay tuition fees. Please contact Client Services for more information.
