Raising Aspirations Week 2019

Day 2 of Raising Aspirations Week was another busy day at College, as we welcomed employers into various curriculum areas.
In the morning, Seb Truman, a music producer and songwriter from Rosewood Music Studio hosted a Q&A session with Sound & Music Production Level 3 students, giving tips on how to get into the music industry! IT students heard from Ian Green at Ultimate Database Ltd, where they discovered available opportunities and leant how to make themselves more appealing to employers.
In Beauty Therapy, Amie Morris from Dermalogica UK gave a demonstration of a facial treatment, talking through the products used and giving tips on client care.
In the afternoon, there were inspiring visits from Chris Bourne, a professional footballer with Grays Athletic FC, who spoke to Sports students, and Public Services Level 3 heard from Kevin Dann and Matt Oakley, Watch Commanders at Surrey Fire and Rescue Service!
