Come and join us for the journey of a lifetime! As a level 1 learner you will enjoy learning about all 3 areas of travel; aviation, travel and customer service. You will learn about working in the travel sector, the necessary requirements for employment and how to have effective customer service skills.
This qualification meets the needs of candidates who wish to work as a Holiday Representative, Tour Guide, Tourist Information Centre Assistant, or Travel Agent in the Travel and Tourism sector. It allows you to gain introductory knowledge and understanding of the industry. It enables students to enter employment in the industry or progress onto higher-level Travel courses.

- Travel and Tourism Itineraries
Equipment Needed:
- Pens, highlighters, pencil, ruler
- A4 folder for the completed portfolio
- A4 lined/ blank paper
- World Atlas, such as The Collins School World Atlas
Minimum Grade 2 at GCSE maths and English plus 2 more GSCEs Grades 2 or above.
This qualification can lead to a career in the Travel and Tourism industry and other progression routes at East Surrey College on courses such as Cabin Crew Level 2 or Travel and Tourism Level 2.

- A Portfolio of evidence and coursework is required.
Students aged 16 to 18, or those aged 16 to 24 who have a valid EHCP and are studying a full-time course, do not have to pay a course fee.
