The Extended Diploma in Creative Media is a creative, vocational and challenging course. It provides a broad hands-on introduction to the business of film and photography production. Students will have the opportunity to use industry-standard cameras, sound recording equipment, lighting kit and software to develop projects in a variety of media disciplines. We also provide all the support and guidance needed for UCAS applications.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Headphones are essential.
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths; or a Level 2 qualification plus GCSE grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
The course is equivalent to three A-Levels and will provide a pathway to further study at degree level, or to employment in the media industry.
There is continued assessment throughout the programme across a range of projects, allowing students to improve and develop continually. Assessment comes in a range of forms including creative projects, portfolio of evidence and presentations.
Students aged 16 to 18, or those aged 16 to 24 who have a valid EHCP and are studying a full-time course, do not have to pay a course fee.
Students aged 19+ (without an EHCP) may have to pay tuition fees. Please contact Client Services for more information.
