Business Level 1 Introductory Diploma (Full Time)

A practical, work focused course which develops the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to provide a sound, basic business education. The course is continuously assessed through assignments, project tasks and case studies. A number of trips are organised during the year to relate your learning to the world of work. The course uses practical activities, presentations and involvement with local business wherever possible. You will also find and complete work experience during non-college days.

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Please note you must be employed before applying for an apprenticeship. Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Please note you must be employed before applying for an apprenticeship. Our Customer Services apprenticeship Standard is suitable for those in customer facing roles in any industry. The core responsibility will be to provide a high quality service to customers which will be delivered from the workplace, digitally, or through going out into the customer's own locality. These may be one-off or routine contacts and include dealing with orders, payments, offering advice, guidance and support, meet-and-greet, sales, fixing problems, after care, service recovery or gaining insight through measuring customer satisfaction

Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Please note you must be employed before applying for an apprenticeship. The main purpose of a customer service specialist is to be a 'professional' for direct customer support within all sectors and organisation types. You are an advocate of Customer Service who acts as a referral point for dealing with more complex or technical customer requests, complaints, and queries. You are often an escalation point for complicated or ongoing customer problems. As an expert in your organisation's products and/or services, you share knowledge with your wider team and colleagues. You gather and analyse data and customer information that influences change and improvements in service. Utilising both organisational and generic IT systems to carry out your role with an awareness of other digital technologies. This could be in many types of environment including contact centres, retail, webchat, service industry or any customer service point.

Digital Marketer BSc (Hons) Degree Level 6 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Please note you must be employed before applying for an Apprenticeship. The distinctive feature of the Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship (DMDA) is its emphasis on the workplace as a learning and development environment. You will find clear relationships between your assignments and taught module content drawn upon in the workplace, and your role in it. We will be using case study examples from students and their organisations, to create a greater understanding of marketing strategies, customer requirements and a range of digital channels such as social media, websites and emails. You will gain a critical appreciation of the elements which digital marketing strategies cover. This course is endorsed by University of Chichester.

Human Resources Consultant Level 5 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Please note you must be employed before applying for an apprenticeship. This role could be called an HR Consultant or an HR Business Partner in different organisations. Individuals in this role will use their HR expertise to provide and lead the delivery of HR solutions to business challenges, together with tailored advice to the business in a number of HR areas, typically to mid-level and senior managers. They could be in a generalist role, where they provide support across a range of HR areas - likely to be the Core HR option; or a specialist role, where they focus on and have in depth expertise in a specific area of HR - likely to be Resourcing, Total Reward, Organisation Development, or HR Operations. Whichever of these is chosen, they will have a good grounding across the whole range of HR disciplines as this is contained in both of the qualification options included in this standard.

Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

Please note you must be employed before applying for an apprenticeship. This Apprenticeship Standard is suitable for Team leaders, first line managers and supervisors from all sectors. This Apprenticeship will comprise of Level 3 Diploma in Management (or equivalent training), Regular performance reviews, A portfolio of Evidence, Feedback from Line manager, peers and direct reports and a Synoptic End Point Assessment The detail of the training programme can be developed between the employer and East Surrey College to provide a bespoke training programme that meets the needs of the employer whilst enabling the apprentice to gain the necessary skills suitable to achieve the end point assessment.
