Jafan is an asylum seeker from Iraq. Prior to leaving Iraq, Jafan studied psychology at university, which he loved. He had been planning to further his studies with a Master’s or Doctorate degree. Jafan had learnt some English at school and college but wanted to improve his English language skills when he arrived in the UK.
