Student's winning design for FBM Architects

Student's winning design for FBM Architects

Date: 13 June 2018

Congratulations to Art & Design Level 1 student Taylor Dean, for impressing London-based FBM Architects with his winning design. Students on the Level 1 course were tasked by FBM with a professional brief: design a contemporary London arts centre, using pencil and the two-point perspective technique. Well done also to Harvey Budgen for coming in a very close second, and winning an A4 LED Lightbox.

Simon Fraser from FBM described sketching as “a vital skill for all of us who work in architecture and any design-related profession” and praised Taylor’s design, commenting that it “showed good two-point perspective and had a nice shape to the space shown.”

Taylor was the deserved winner of a video projector, awarded to him during the Diploma Show on 13 June.
