Rob Staplehurst, Police Sergeant for the Safer Neighbourhoods Team on Reigate and Banstead commented “The football tournament arranged between the students and staff of East Surrey College and the police was a great success. It was a fantastic opportunity to break down barriers and support positive engagement from all sides. There was a really good turn out of students, both playing and supporting. Participating in events like these really help to strengthen the bonds in our communities and encourages two way conversation. I look forward to further such events in the future and hope to see as many of the students and staff there as possible.”
