Travel Disruption

Date: 21 June 2022

The RMT Rail Union has confirmed that industrial action will continue to go ahead as planned and will take place on the following days:

Tuesday 21 June
Thursday 23 June
Saturday 25 June

There will also be a strike on the London Underground on Tuesday 21 June.

Services are also likely to be affected on the following strike days (Wednesday 22, Friday 24 and Sunday 26 June).

Please note this disruption will also result in reduced Tram services between Wednesday 22 June - Sunday 26 June.

Buses and local roads are not affected by the strikes though they will be much busier than normal, especially on Tuesday 21 June and the morning of Wednesday 22 June.

Please see the National Rail and TfL website for the most up-to-date information.

While we know that many of our students and colleagues travel to College by car or bike, we are aware that some of you may be concerned about your travel this week in light of the rail strikes that are taking place.

If you are concerned that you will be unable to get to the College due to the travel disruption, please speak to your tutor/line manager initially.  For staff, if you have any specific concerns please contact the HR team, HResources@esc.ac.uk.
