Painting & Decorating Level 2 - Max
Former School(s): Oriel High School
Max started at ESC on the Springboard programme, which gave him the opportunity to try out Carpentry, Brickwork and Painting & Decorating. He really enjoyed the Painting & Decorating elements in particular and progressed to Painting & Decorating Level 1.
Max found the Level 1 course quite challenging, however, with the support of his tutors, he returned to College motivated to achieve well on the Level 2 course. He commented that “The tutors are friendly and supportive and encouraged me to stay focused.”
Max also works on private projects outside of College, including wallpapering a house for a family contact. “I enjoy just getting on with my own work and spending time on projects I have been given.”
Once he's finished his studies, Max would love to start up his own company one day or go into the industry on a full-time basis.
