Public Services Level 3 - Georgina

Former School(s): de Stafford School

Georgina joined ESC from de Stafford School, after visiting the College at an Open Event, and chose to explore Public Services as she wanted to do something "different and practical - I'm not a fan of exams!"

The course gives Georgina plenty of opportunities to work with others "I love the people - I can be really open with my coursemates, and we do a lot of projects in teams."

When asked about the teaching on the course, Georgina shared: "It's really, really good! I honestly couldn't find any better." During classes, Georgina also regularly helps students with learning difficulties. 

Outside of College, Georgina has taken part in voluntary work and took part in an NHS trip to visit refugee women. "It was a very eye-opening experience  - we saw how they lived and what their lifestyle is like." 

As the second year of her Level 3 course draws to an end, Georgina is in the process of looking for full-time work and is hoping to work as a call handler, before pursuing work in immigration.
