Public Services Level 1 - Rowan

Former School(s): Carrington School (The Warwick School)

Rowan originally enrolled on the Painting & Decorating course at East Surrey College and later decided to enrol onto the LEAP Programme through late enrolment.

Whilst on LEAP, Rowan had the opportunity to build confidence in presenting himself, taking part in mock interviews, presenting business opportunities and learning relevant business skills.

“I was genuinely surprised I enjoyed LEAP as much as I did. We were able to set up our own business ideas and mine was Formula 1 based.”

Rowan has recently graduated from LEAP and is now looking for new opportunities in the Public Sector whilst studying Public Services Level 1. Rowan is really enjoying the course with lots of physical activity, expert tutors in key areas and an expedition at Box Hill.

Rowan has previous experience in helping the local community through Army Cadets which inspired his decision making to further his career into the policing workforce through training or continuing his studies at ESC.
