I am the Senior Careers and Industry Placement Lead for Orbital South Colleges. I manage a team of careers advisors and work experience coordinators across both campuses and work closely with curriculum to ensure that all students have access to effective Information, Advice and Guidance, as well as meaningful interactions with employers which support the qualifications they are studying with us.

My background has been within recruitment and employment across a range of sectors, I am also a qualified Level 6 Careers Advisor, so understand the importance of creating an effective careers and industry placement provision within an FE environment.

Throughout my career, I have worked with both adults and secondary school students and have built a strong network of employers.

This has enabled me to create strong business relationships with key internal and external customers and develop relationships with organisations, such as work experience providers, apprenticeship employers, support groups, skills development teams, charities and special educational need intervention agencies.

I am passionate about encouraging and inspiring others and provide a supportive working environment, in order to achieve successful results and effectively deliver the relevant Gatsby Benchmarks across the college group.
