You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment, how to contribute to the effective running of a beauty business, how to carry out effective salon reception duties and how to display retail stock to promote sales in the salon.
You will gain a recognised qualification to practice Beauty Therapy. The course will involve both practical and theory classes. During the practical lessons, you will work in a realistic salon environment and will be expected to carry out beauty therapy treatments on clients, once you have reached a certain level of ability.

Progression to Level 3 Diploma courses in Beauty Therapy, Spa, Nail Services or Media Make-Up.
There is a continued assessment throughout the programme, allowing students to improve and develop continually. Assessment comes in a range of forms including practical assessment and online tests.
Students aged 16 to 18, or those aged 16 to 24 who have a valid EHCP and are studying a full-time course, do not have to pay a course fee.
Students aged 19+ (without an EHCP) may have to pay tuition fees. Please contact Client Services for more information.
