Art Design & Contemporary Media UAL Level 4 Foundation Studies (Full Time)

Aimed at post A-Level students as well as mature students with relevant experience or qualifications, this course is a required prerequisite for most university level creative subject areas. You will study a very broad range that includes painting and drawing as well as workshops in 3D, traditional and non-traditional skills. This two year Foundation Degree course enables students to develop a full awareness of the creative and media industries to learn the technical skills required to work as a specialist make-up artist and to build a professional portfolio. There will be both practical and theoretical sessions. With an emphasis on the use of modern and traditional technology and the development of professional skills. The course is designed to support careers within the theatre as well as in film and television, but will also include aspects of fashion and work in other creative industries. Sound & Music Production Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) (HE Full Time)

This course provides a route into Higher Education from a variety of level 3 programmes. It is directly equivalent to the first year of an honours degree and is designed to prepare students either for further study or for careers in various areas of the sound and music industries. Key areas of study include emerging technologies and their implications for the job market, advanced production techniques and studio practice. Photography Workshop (Part Time)

This is a beginner course on how to use a DSLR or digital camera and develop your photographic skills and techniques.
