Bringing New Life to the ESC Garden

Bringing New Life to the ESC Garden

Date: 18 November 2019

Public Services students, from Level 1 - 3, are excited to be carrying out a rejuvenation project on an outdoor space at the College, that was once used as a garden and allotment.

The Public Services students will work with other departments from across the College to bring new life into the area, by growing vegetables and maintaining the features, including shed and plot areas.

The project is designed for students completing the practical element within their Voluntary Work unit, and will also benefit other students and staff who use this space. The outdoor space can be used within Life Skills classes and Cooking courses, as part of Enrichment or as Part-time courses.
