Get Ready focuses on supporting young people to manage the expectations of college life, achieve their qualifications and progress on to fantastic destinations at college and beyond. 

Get Ready benefits from small groups, and expert tutors, alongside strong pastoral support.

AREAS COVERED INCLUDE

• Certificate in Personal and Social Skills, including topics such as teamwork, dealing with problems, managing relationships, and skills such as personal finances, community action and preparation for work
• Essential Digital Skills qualification
• Math and English qualifications if required
• Tutorial and enrichment

WHERE CAN IT LEAD? 

To a vocational level 1 course at East Surrey College.

LEAP (Learning, Employability and Progression) is a great way to support the transition into employment, preparing and supporting you with building the skills you'll need to secure and maintain employment. 

This course has varied start and exit points throughout the year and is designed to help young people who may need a little support to transition into employment in their local community.
