Film & TV Production Level 3 - Leo

Former School(s): Royal Alexandra & Albert School

Leo was our Student Union President for 2020/21 and joined ESC after finishing his GCSEs at Royal Alexandra and Albert School. He loved Art and Computer classes at school and was able to combine his two passions by studying Film & TV Production!

Before starting the course, he undertook work experience at his dad’s advertising agency and was able to help with creating illustrations and showreels. At ESC, he’s loved being able to try out new techniques in editing and cinematography and is passionate about setting up his own production company in the future. He had heard about Reigate School of Art's great reputation for creative courses and knew that the facilities were right for him. 

“I’m really enjoying it – the facilities and equipment are great, and I love being able to use new technology!”

As SU President, Leo represented the student body at College Council and Governance meetings. After being elected, he said: 

“I’m looking forward to taking everyone’s opinions and suggestions on board. It’s going to be a lot of responsibility, but I’m excited about it and it’s great to get a change from secondary school.”

In his role, Leo will be helping to maintain communication between students and staff, and will support new initiatives and events at ESC!
