Exploring the Magic of MAC and Mary Quant
Date: 27 February 2020
Two groups of Hair & Media Make-Up Level 2 students were lucky enough to head up to London recently to visit the MAC Cosmetics Store, where they sat in on a demonstration by a MAC artist .
The students had a chance to ask questions about the equipment used and careers in the make-up industry. This was followed by a shopping experience, giving the students a valuable opportunity to top up their kits and test out some new equipment.
The second part of their educational visit was a trip to the Victoria & Albert Museum, which was hosting an exhibition on fashion designer Mary Quant. The students were able to source new information and styles that they could bring into their coursework.
