Earlier this month, we celebrated the incredible work produced by our Creative Arts students at the annual Reigate School of Art’s End-of-Year Art Exhibition.
The exhibition featured an impressive range of artistic work, from sculptures and fashion designs to theatrical make-up and digital art displays. There was something for everyone to enjoy, with each piece demonstrating the creativity and talent of our students.
Among the standout displays was a collection of theatrical masks created by Lauren Oatham. Her work explored five different mental health conditions and aspects of neurodiversity, using abstract forms to express a range of emotions and encourage conversations around these important topics.

Morgan Hawes presented a model ship that explored the impact of narrative within visual storytelling. They wanted the piece “to create an atmosphere that would be gothic, eerie and lived in, that encourages viewers to question if it has a history behind it”.

Travis Haines stated he wanted his artwork to portray the “mind-numbing tedium of doomscrolling through an endless digital landscape”. By using bright colours and intense visual elements, he aimed to replicate the eye strain and headaches often associated with phone use. His work was a creative and thought-provoking reflection on a modern-day issue.

Paige Soper’s project explored coulrophobia (the fear of clowns) and how overwhelming this fear can become for those who experience it. Using a combination of clay, paint and textiles, she created a striking and unsettling display that vividly brought this phobia to life.
The exhibition was a fantastic celebration of our students’ hard work and artistic achievements, showcasing their technical skills as well as their ability to explore meaningful themes through creative expression.
