Emily, one of our Art & Design Level 4 Foundation Diploma students, had the incredible honour of seeing her artwork featured as a mural at Reigate railway station.

Emily originally designed the mural while studying on the Creative Practice; Art, Design & Communication UAL Level 3 course as part of a work experience project. Her aim was to showcase the beautiful wildlife and natural landscapes that Surrey has to offer, bringing some inspiration to commuters on their daily journeys.
Her imaginative design was selected by the Community Rail Partnership and was officially unveiled at a special opening ceremony held at the station.

Emily is now the second Reigate School of Art student to have their work showcased in the local community, following another student’s successful mural project at Redhill station. It is wonderful to see the positive impact our students’ creativity is having across the local area and to celebrate the recognition of their talent through these public art installations.
Congratulations, Emily, on this fantastic achievement!
